Engaging and well written. Just started reading the first book and I love the characters.., well mostly, besides the bad guys. Easy read and fantastic humor. Glad I got the signed editions. The packaging and bonus items are great too!

Love it. Worth every penny. Wish I'd know about the military discount, but no biggie. Having them signed just adds to my joy in owning them. I have a very custom office and the ammo can is displayed prominently. Advice to anyone with no experience opening a metal ammo can, bring your big boy muscles.
I have finished the first book and thought it was hilarious. I love the ammo can. I cant wait to order the other series that come in the toolbox, lunch box and survival tin.

I just finished Book 2 of the Duck and Cover series. It took me about 2 or 3 nights of reading before bed…. I absolutely could NOT put them down. I’m purposely waiting until Friday evening (I’m married and don’t go out😁) to start Book 3. These books are hilarious, well written, and extremely entertaining. Buy Them!!!

I love this book series. I own every book on audio and now in print. Out of all of the audio books I own, this is the only series that I also own in print.

Happiness in an ammo can! This buying experience is one of the best I have had in my entire lengthy existence! The personal touches and wonderful emails throughout were delightful. I had read the first book in ebook form, but have recently gotten back to physical books for their lovely smell and feel. Some things are not easily replicated! I am excited to start the journey again, and what better time than now, as we navigate our own apocalypse.
Cool story, first “just for fun” books in about ten years. Highly recommend.

First book finished, starting on the second! Interesting and funny to read. Enjoying the character development along the way.
I find the series to be an entertaining read that can be read at a steady clip and followed from book to book with relative ease. The idealism of the protagonist has a very imperfect and human quality to it, more a response to circumstances than a great crusade to save the world from itself, since its too late for that anyway.

Being prior military, navy retired, and having a son that served in the army, it was a fun inside family joke to present him with the ammo can, and then the books were inside. We finished only the first book so far the characters are very engaging. The stickers are a lot of fun too.
I bought the Duck & Cover Ammo Can for my husband's 71st birthday - he was surprised by the can and all the goodies inside, but he loved the book, especially the awesome "Happy Birthday" from Ben himself! I highly recommend...
I purchased this for my son's birthday as he had just finished the Dune series. I am going to order the audio books so we can talk about it next time I see him. I got the full series in the ammo can with the stickers and everything - there was a personalized inscription from the author wishing my son a happy 24th birthday, which was nice. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and will be getting to the audiobooks soon!
